At a brief ceremony at State House past friday, President Ernest  Bai Koroma told the new ministers in his cabinet that they are coming in at a time when much talking is not needed,  but this is "a time to deliver." "We have been in office for over a year and half, and the public expects us to fulfill our promises," he declared.
Addressing the ministers and deputy ministers at two separate but similar ceremonies respectively, President Koroma entreated them to have a thorough study of his ‘Agenda for Change' programme, which is a second generation of the PRSP, which shows the direction the government is taking in a bid to develop Sierra Leone.

We Yone unequivocally assert that the allegation of rape is a mere fabrication by the opposition SLPP to water down the credibility of the APC and the goodwill that exists between the party and the womenfolk of this country.

The National Secretary General of the All Peoples Congress comrade Victor Bockarie Foh has yesterday during a stakeholders meeting of all political parties, civil society organisation, donors and law enforcement agencies, on behalf of the leadership and rank and file of the party, affirm that despite the recent fracas between the two main political parties which he further assured the meeting that the party will leave no stone unturned to bring to book the perpetrators, the party still holds in high esteem the National Electoral Commission and other stake holders in the democratic process.
