The Bible is replete with the history of leaders who have vision for their people and who took outstanding measures to bring their vision to reality.

Thus, people perish where their leaders lack vision.

We Yone is therefore highly elated for Sierra Leone having a visionary leader in the personality of President Comrade Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, who, upon his election into the high office of the Presidency in 2007 elections, uniquely demonstrated leadership qualities by prioritizing the developmental sectors vis avis the APC's strides to bring about a prosperous and brighter socio-economic future in our midst.

We Yone is convinced that after watching the rather unplanned and unfocussed manner the erstwhile SLPP regime Actors administered the nation during their reign, the then opposition APC Leader long taught it prudent to usher positive change once he was elected into office as President of our Republic.

And true to that commitment, as encapsulated in the Manifesto of the All Peoples Congress prior to the 2007 elections, once elected, President Comrade Dr. President Ernest Bai Koroma prioritized his Agenda for change to bring about collectively the socio-economic and infrastructural development Sierra Leoneans are yearning for.

We Yone notes that our amiable, dynamic and focused President itemized the energy, agriculture and the infrastructural sectors as top priorities for government's intervention in concert with development partners.

True to that commitment, We Yone is pleased to report that outstanding achievements have been realized in the energy sector as Freetown is now electrified on a 24-hour basis; roads - both trunk and feeder ones and other infrastructural activities have been given premium and are going at a faster pace; and huge financial and material inputs have been injected into the agricultural sector most spectacularly the provision of hundreds of tractors and other tillers.

However, as our salvation lies in the industrial sector for the anticipated economic growth and prosperity, the fact that President Comrade Koroma has most importantly continue to show the highest degree of commitment in the energy sector vis avis the completion of the Bumbuna Hydro Electric project, makes We Yone and indeed every well-meaning Sierra Leone very optimistic of our future progress.

Since elected, President Comrade Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma together with his team of hardworking cabinet ministers spared no moment in striving hard to source funds for the completion of the first phase of the Bumbuna Project. We Yone is proud to state that this was done in record time and the work accelerated at a pace unprecedented even when SLPP rule in peace between 2002-2007!

This impetus vividly demonstrates President Comrade Bai Koroma's right choice of priority for which the people of Sierra Leone, We Yone is convinced are eternally grateful of.

As the water reaches its level for the swinging of the turbines of the Bumbuna Hydro to generate the much needed megawatts of electricity very soon, our collective future is assured as we now have a President who has fulfilled the social contract between him and us the governed. Therefore, We Yone would like to assure compatriots on behalf of the All Peoples Congress that as our hardworking president goes to Bumbuna, our collective hopes for Industrial renaissance are being realized.

Once Bumbuna electricity becomes a reality, in the very near future Sierra Leone would be awashed with a proliferation of industries.

The Bumbuna hydro would be able to generate the quantum of electricity for industries located In the Wellington Industrial Estate to produce their products at full capacity and create additional job opportunities.

We Yone is also positive of the numerous welding plants, bakeries, tailoring centres, refrigeration and electronic workshops that would spring up in parts of Freetown and other Northern towns the electricity would supply coupled to what obtains in the Bo-Kenema Areas where the Bo-Kenema Power Services Mini-Dodo hydro is in operation.

As President Comrade Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma goes to Bumbuna, the certainty for an increase in job creation is more than a foregone conclusion. As President Koroma goes to Bumbuna, foreign investors would feel very comfortable to come to Sierra Leone in good numbers and open business in every facet of the economy-as the frustrations encountered during the days of the SLPP regime would have been curtailed, if not wiped out. As President Koroma goes to Bumbuna, the possibility of buoyant and vibrant economic activities would sooner rather than later be realized: mass production of goods, development of local industries and reduction in the costs of finished products.

As President Comrade Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma goes to Bumbuna, the overwhelming joy associated with being an industrialized and prosperous State among the community of nations would soon resonate in our land.

Finally as President Comrade Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma goes to Bumbuna, We Yone would like to state emphatically that the APC which commenced the Bumbuna Hydro Electric Project in the late 70's during the stewardship of late President Comrade Dr. Siaka Probyn Stevens, would have been brought to reality under a Leader and chairman of the APC in the personality of President Comrade Ernest Bai Koroma - a major historical achievement.

Lest We Yone forget, the entire membership of the All Peoples Congress and the people of Sierra Leone would like to extend highest consideration and appreciations to the Italian government; the contractors - SALCOST and other major European nations and Development partners for the huge financial assistance given to this very key project in Sierra Leone's drive for economic growth and National Development.

Indeed as President Comrade Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma goes to Bumbuna, a Brighter Future is assured!
