Established in 1960, We Yone is the only surviving pre-independence medium. It is the oldest newspaper and has consistently presented the masses with factual and accurate information that educates to liberate.

It has consistently served as a public information outlet for the ruling All Peoples Congress political party and has been a medium of expression for great political and educational idealists like Ibrahim Taqi, Dr. Sarif Easmon, Solomon A. J. Pratt and Professor Emeritus Dr Eldred Jones.

For many years We Yone has been an integral component in the struggle for socio economic liberation informing, educating and entertaining the public on issues that will foster national cohesion, peace, stability and  development.
