The All Peoples Congress Government of President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma having been in office for almost eighteen months continues to make significant achievements in various spheres of endeavours aimed at taking Sierra Leone to a brighter future through the maximization of youth potentials, the socio economic emancipation of the women, improved access to basic health care and safe and clean drinking water and rapid infrastructural development inclusive of road construction and housing facilities.

During the campaign preceding the 2007 presidential elections at which the people of this country overwhelmingly voted for His Excellency Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma as President of this country in an election widely acclaimed as free and fair by the international community the APC presented its manifesto to the people rightly referred to as "An Agenda For Change" and encapsulates the vision and direction of the APC in taking our beloved country once again from the doldrums of socio economic malaise to a bright and prosperous nation.

Ex-president Alhaji Ahmed Tejan Kabbah may have rightly earned himself the great compliment as the man that brought the ten-year long senseless war, which was initiated against the people of this country on the pretext of wanting to overthrow the APC in March 1991, to an end following his ever to be remembered proclamation that "Di War Don Don" in 2002.

Ex-president Kabbah may certainly agree with many people that he was able to bring peace to Sierra Leone because of the cooperation he received from every sector of the Sierra Leonean society which includes civil society and political parties.
