xxxxxIt was God that saved the country from another catastrophe following the fracas on Friday 13th March 2009 between supporters of the APC and the SLPP or else something strange would have taken place to the complacency of the SLPP while the APC should have been in trouble. Too much of one thing is good for nothing. As President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma has said in a nationwide broadcast that at no giving time did the APC perpetrated violence while the SLPP was in power but to his dismay it is on the contrary during his tenure.

picture1According to the dictates of the laws of Sierra Leone governing citizenship the opposition Sierra Leone's People Party newly elected chairman John Oponjo Benjamin, whose real identity is John Oponjo Benjamin Hirsch - son of a German Nazi soldier who ran away to Sierra Leone from the guilt of the Jewish holocaust, is not qualified to either play an active role in the politics of Sierra Leone or even become a chairman/leader of a political party.

The opposition SLPP chairman is actually the son of a German soldier who because of his role in the perpetuation of gross human rights violations during the Nazi holocaust between 1938 and 1945 when over 600000 Jews were killed, 500 synagogues destroyed in what started as a boycott of Jewish shops and ended in the gas chambers at Auschwitz as Adolf Hitler and his Nazi followers attempted to exterminate the entire Jewish population of Europe feared for his life and decided to flee from Europe.

It isthe forty-second anniversary, or rather commemoration of the first overthrow of the APC government and the introduction of the Military in the politics and governance of the state by the SLPP.
The moments 17th - 23rd March 1967 are worth recalling at this particular time of our country's political history.
I could very well remember when my late father chief Mucktarru-Kallay visited me in the USA and gave me a parcel of documents, I later realized was a diary of the events leading to the 1967 coup and its aftermath on the political development of the country.

The National Secretary General of the All Peoples Congress comrade Victor Bockarie Foh has yesterday during a stakeholders meeting of all political parties, civil society organisation, donors and law enforcement agencies, on behalf of the leadership and rank and file of the party, affirm that despite the recent fracas between the two main political parties which he further assured the meeting that the party will leave no stone unturned to bring to book the perpetrators, the party still holds in high esteem the National Electoral Commission and other stake holders in the democratic process.
