The All Peoples Congress (APC) party with deep sadness has learned about the passing of an illustrious party comrade, Dr. Abdulai Osman Conteh.
The party mourns this renowned comrade whose commitment, dedication, and devotion to the progress of APC cannot be forgotten in a hurry.
The late man served the APC and Sierra Leone in many capacities, including but not limited to former vice president, minister of foreign affairs, minister of finance, minister of interior, attorney general, and senior adviser, among others.
Comrade Abdulai O. Conteh answered the call from beyond in the early hours of Friday 2nd August, in Freetown, a few days before his 79th birthday.
Born on the 5th of August 1945, Comrade Abdulai O. Conteh lived a fulfilled life carving a niche for himself as one of the most brilliant legal luminaries in Sierra Leone.
The APC, as the biggest political party in Sierra Leone, hugely benefited from the wisdom of this fine comrade, but trust god that, every human being will taste the bittersweet period of death.
On a solemn occasion like this, the party encourages comrades alive to sustain the legacies of this late man by being more committed to the course putting the party’s interest above self.
He will surely be missed!
