Kailahun District To Bounce Back To Economic Prominence As APC Signs Another Road Contract

"I am sure Kailahun district will once again bounce back to economic prominence with the completion of this road project which commences today with the signing of this agreement between the Government of Sierra Leone represented by the Sierra Leone Roads Authority and ISU Engineering and Construction Company from Korea", Resident Minister Eastern Region Comrade William Juana Smith declared to a thunderous applaud as he expressed the economic importance of the 167 kilometre road from Kenema to Koindu of which 80 kilometre will be soon be constructed, terminating at Pendembu to mark the first phase of the project.

The signing ceremony which took place this morning at State House is the third road contract that has been signed by the APC Government of Comrade President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma within a month and was witnessed by Ministers, Deputy Ministers, senior party stalwarts, representatives of civil society, Members of Parliament and Paramount Chiefs from Kailahun District, Councillors of the Kailahun District Council and the Chairman of Kailahun District Council Tom Nyuma.
